Wakeboarding Weather

Like most of you I’ve been in work this week checking the weather reports religiously hoping for some fine weather this weekend. I was especially hoping for low wind conditions as its been choppy the last couple of times I’ve been wakeboarding. The BBC’s weather report and the MET offices report where at times completely different. The MET office where quoting 6 mph wind on Saturday and clear conditions, mint I thought. Nevertheless, the good old BBC where quoting muggy and windy conditions for this Saturday with 16mph winds!! Anyway a good friend of mine who’s a surfing fanatic pointed me in the direction of this site called wind guru. I think its aimed at wind surfers and something people call kite surfing ;-) Anyway its got loads of detail about sea swell, wind direct and wind speed. Also its international and provides information for all over the world. I’ve know idea how useful it is for those lucky enough to live near little lakes though. So the wakeboarding tip for today is checkout http://www.windguru.cz for your pre wakeboarding weather.

There will be no more news, wakeboarding videos or wakeboarding tips until Tuesday as I’m off wakeboarding in 20minutes and taking Monday off!
