• Progressive Edge – You edge in on your wakeboard and increase the amount of edge gradually, so that you reach your maximum edge at the top of the wake.

• Leaning on the line – You lean against the boat on the tow rope. Keeping your chest behind your feet.

• Heal Side – Travelling on the edge of the board closest to your heals.

• Line Tension – The amount of slack in the tow rope, the tighter the better.

• Toe Side – Travelling on the edge of the board closest to your toes, easier with one hand on the tow line.

• Cutting In – Travelling from outside of the wake towards that wake.
