Every couple years they have followed the tropical setting in places like Hawaii, Florida Keys and now this year Cancun, Mexico for the annual Tige Pro Am Championships. This event is different from all the other competitions throughout the year. It is set up in a “Skins” format. The winner of each heat or (skin) wins $500 and advances to the next heat. Rider with most “Skins” at the end wins overall. Team Hyperlite represented well this year at the Tige Pro Am with Brian Grubb taking 3rd in Wakeskate, Jimmy La Riche 3rd in Junior Men and AJ Racinelli clinching the 1st spot in Junior Men.
